Multi-talented Hessed Honstein is writing a Hollywood ending to her own story. Through years of hard work as an actress, host and model, this alluring Texan has set herself on a path to international success as a television personality. Although born in the state of Coahuila, Mexico, Hessed was raised in Houston, Texas by parents who moved the family to the fast-growing "Energy Capital of the World." The bilingual performer is the third born of four girls, all creatively talented in the arts. After spending her first few years of school in Mexico, Hessed transitioned to the U.S. education system and flourished in her new surroundings. Later, as a junior in high school, she had the opportunity to spend a year in her native country. The lesson taught her not to take life in the States for granted. In 1998, Hessed graduated from Langham Creek High School, northwest of Houston. After high school, she developed a fascination for the performing arts, and earned an Associates Degree at Houston Community College. But academic studies weren't enough to satisfy her. Her newfound passion for performing led to training at the internationally-renowned Page Parkes Center of Modeling & Acting. Eventually, she was seen in fashion shows and advertisements for top retailers, such as Macy's, Urban Outfitters and Academy Sports & Outdoors. Developing acting skills also became a priority, and Hessed began studying with one of the best teachers around, Deke Anderson. The veteran actor, with more than 30 features under his belt and numerous television appearances, has helped Hessed develop more confidence and a better technical understanding of acting. She applies these lessons to her work in film, TV and web marketing and advertising videos. In the midst of acting, modeling, auditioning, and continuing her training, Hessed is pursuing a degree in Journalism and World Cultures, a crucial step in her future plans. She hopes to host her own TV show someday, potentially combining her love of travel and discovering unique people, societies and cultures.
